Canoeing, Kayaking, Tubing & more!

Join Us on the Androscoggin River

The major stream of revenue, accounting for more than 75% of the company's income, is the river trip service.

Bethel Outdoor Adventure is equipped to host hundreds of paddlers, floaters, and kayakers every day throughout the summer. The shuttle and trailer service transport customers to a public boat launch in Gilead, ME where boats are loaded into the water. From Gilead, customers float back to Bethel Outdoor Adventure where they are met at the riverbank beach.

Along the way, wildlife sightings including resident bald-eagles, moose, and deer can be spotted from the water. This is an exciting stretch of the river to access and the Mahoosuc Land Trust and Conservation Fund are working together to protect a 9-mile section of the river just upstream.
