Ed and his wife Elizabeth, with their dog Luna settled in Bethel in 2016 after spending five years sailing the Atlantic and Caribbean Seas. While raising their two children in Charlotte N.C., prior to sailing off, Ed gained extensive experience in real estate brokerage, commercial land sales, and forest management.

He previously owned Wingate Paving Company and specialized in the development of commercial real estate projects. Then in the world of commercial land sales and management he held his NC real estate brokers license working with Crescent Resources, LLC.

Ed holds a degree in plant biology and has always had a passion for the outdoors. He serves as past president and board member of Inland Woods + Trails and volunteers on the Lands Committee with Mahoosuc Land Trust. Ed appreciates the process of making real estate transactions enjoyable by leveraging his extensive knowledge to advise his clients in Western Maine on successfully achieving their dreams.
