April Market Report

What crazy times we are living in!

When I reviewed last month’s data, I wasn’t sure what to expect.

A lot of owners are sitting tight right now – they have their kids home from school, they don’t want strangers in their homes for showings, etc. There is some apprehension with listing homes on the market right now and that is totally understandable.

Buyers are in the opposite boat these days – they are sitting at home, looking at houses online, and waiting for the right one to come on the market. More buyers than ever before have come to me with a pre-approval already in hand. They’ve had the time to work with their lender and now they are ready to buy.

It is my personal prediction that with low interest rates and this pent-up demand, there will be a very active market in Q3 and Q4. Let’s all hope I’m right, right?!

This market report shows our local activity on a micro-level, as well as the summary of Oxford County and Statewide activity over the past month.

Stay safe and healthy & as always – let me know how I can help!
